This project expands the meaning of family by inviting visitors to hang “laundry” together—an action usually limited among family members. With techniques such as monotype printing and exposing textiles on silkscreens, we transformed clothing items collected in Kyoto City to screen prints. At the historic Tamba Kameyama Castle ruins, new relationships are built as we hang prints adorned with clothes and stories we collected.
